First link is about a man sacked for slagging off his employers, in a book, about 18yrs ago.
“Mr Connolly now intends to take his case to Europe’s other court, the non-EU European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.”
That court upheld his sacking. At no time has his free speech been hampered or censored. Just seems he wanted to carry on working for, and taking money from, an institution he hates? Anyone who wishes can buy his book.
Telegraph hype, spin, and outrage.

Second link is dated 2014 and refers to an increase in UK contributions to the EU. The Telegraph seems outraged (what a surprise!) about this. Much as Telegraph readers are shocked and outraged when a pay rise results in them paying more taxes.

Again I asked for your definition… have you given it yet? “mass-immigration” is an emotive topic that should be discussed. Arguing at cross purposes about ill defined terms leads to woolly thinking and a waste of time.

Another straw man. You really are trying aren`t you? I NEVER said there was no song or anthem for Europe. I said there was no national anthem. It was always you using slack language. That little section was enclosed in double parentheses. I included it as an aside. You had previously been trying to talk about “opening floodgates” and rising unrest etc in the USA. Both more in your imagination than in fact. You had previously mentioned Switzerland. Anyone with a little sense of humour may see what I was attempting there. Any possible humour it may had will be squeezed out in further explanation.

Over the last three pages I’ve often been given an opinion that I’m wrong. I’ve given plenty of links to information that warn against the EU and describes what it is, but I’m still waiting for documentary evidence that tells me open borders have been beneficial, that flooding the market with foreign cheap labour is good, or that being ruled by European commissioners is the way to go. During that time you’ve seen the way the EU operates; a parliament that is actually an advisory body, the continuing referendums until they get the right answer and a deliberate attempt to ignore the wishes of the people throughout Europe. Isn’t it ironic that having been led into the EU by politicians, Brexit was the result of leaving an EU that the public never voted for in the first place?

Will our markets collapse outside the EU and if so, why haven’t the economies of Switzerland, Iceland and Norway, who all trade with the EU but are not member states? Will regaining control over our borders make us all racists and Nazis? How about voting in MEPs as an advisory body to the EU commissioners and their organization, who can never be voted out? Is it such a bad idea to build up a fishing industry on an island surrounded by the sea, instead of being told by Europeans we can’t? The remainers can’t answer these questions and why they engage in semantics, denials and distractions, with no debate to offer themselves.

During the 20th century Britain remained distant from the European authoritarian ideologies of communism, fascism and National Socialism. We watched from a distance as the same promises the remainers make now wrecked European countries. Do people now realize why it took from Blair to Cameron to wring a referendum out of the political elite and why there are now delays from remainer PM May, plans for new treaties and calls for another referendum to decide what has already been decided on by a referendum two years ago? That’s the way the EU operates. The EU has already discussed the abolition of nation states and the question is really obvious; how can you be an independent nation state governed by a European organization? What point is there having a British parliament if it is over ruled by European commissioners? You might as well dissolve it and have done with it, replacing the government as an advisory member to European commissioners. That’s what will eventually happen as the EU moves towards its purpose of a one government super state Europe.

Are you ready to replace ‘God save the Queen’ with this? What anthem? All rise for the anthem you’ve been told doesn’t exist. (British Independence and French front National turn their backs on the EU National Anthem).
