For all its faults, Britain is a democratic nation. Brexit was a message to the political elite that we do not want this here!Euro-court outlaws criticism of EU
Explainer: Why must Britain pay £1.7bn to the European Union and can we stop it happening?
Britain's War on Christianity: Part I :: Gatestone Institute
First link is about a man sacked for slagging off his employers, in a book, about 18yrs ago.
“Mr Connolly now intends to take his case to Europe’s other court, the non-EU European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.”
That court upheld his sacking. At no time has his free speech been hampered or censored. Just seems he wanted to carry on working for, and taking money from, an institution he hates? Anyone who wishes can buy his book.
Telegraph hype, spin, and outrage.
Second link is dated 2014 and refers to an increase in UK contributions to the EU. The Telegraph seems outraged (what a surprise!) about this. Much as Telegraph readers are shocked and outraged when a pay rise results in them paying more taxes.
The third link is (and you accuse me of rambling!..what an alt right piece about religion is doing here…)
“Britain’s War on Christianity: Part I
by Soeren Kern”
According to Wiki
“The Gatestone Institute (formerly Stonegate Institute and Hudson New York) is a right-wing[2][3][4] anti-Muslim[a][5] think tank with a focus on Islam and the Middle East. The organization has attracted attention for publishing false articles and being a source of viral falsehoods”
I refer Grandpa to his own comment,

Nice to agree on something.
