What is S&K at Barry docks like for work

Heard only good things about them,such one driver gave up his family and home to work with the yellow truck outfit. :laughing:

i know they run quite a lot of italy, and like everyone else there are/were a few polish on the job, but i think its average pay, couple or three weeks out at a time, usual stuff, but like you, ive never heard a bad thing said against them, good luck!

I was speaking to someone last week who’s Dad works for them. Good kit, easy work, they never get rushed the only downside is the pay which is average. His dad did have gripes like the fact they want paperwork faxed at the end of every week but then don’t pay you the 2 Euros it cost to fax it.

He is out regularly for 3 weeks and goes pretty much all over.

I didn’t know that, never seen a Pole on S&K, seen a lot of drunk Welshmen and a lone Yorkshireman :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah, im thinking back to around 2005 ish, when i was at european road freight, we had half a dozen poles on, and now and then youd get the odd one or two coming up and saying whatever hello is in polish, may well be all gone now, p.s. drunk welshman/polish, DONT EVEN SOUND SAME!!!

Like H&R transport in Candada,nick name is “Hit and run”,strict policy that if drivers look them up on net forums they dont get the job.

im sure it would be easy enough when you have completed a delivery to fax it to the office from delivery point… unless it was an rdc.
