What do you want from a Truckshow

Started this to give people an alternative to moaning about Truckfest. Let’s do it ourselves, after all it’s for us.

Non extortionate ticket prices and food.

I’m not sure how a truckshow could be any different to be honest. Basically, it’s just always going to be a load of trucks in a field.

Funny you should say that, I looked at my 85 the other day and whatever way I clocked it, I could see for a fleeting moment, the 2800’s DNA in it.

Ok, I’m a sad case but it happened to me!

I drove an Alpha with the 75 cab on Thursday; I thought the dash display was a late 80s early 90s timewarp.

Something a bit like this would be good

but with a few less cowboy hats and a few more euro trucks

Any one revving the nuts out of a v8 scania will have a petrol bomb thrown in to the cab.

The original 85 tipper had a lot of leyland constructor DNA in it.

A good off road wagon, the Constructor.

To be fair someone I know has an ice cream van and the cost to get a pitch at big events like truckfest causes high prices rather than just been greedy.

Absolutely! I think it was the four lights and the high stance that did it.

For sure, from past experience of working on the show circuit I would guess at least £1000 for a pitch for an ice-cream van for the weekend and probably a lot more.
