You mean Radio 2 between 3 and 5  I was listening to JW sound of the 70’s this morning :sunglasses:

Spotify on BT Stream from the phone or LBC / Alex Lester

LBC has some good chats.

yeah, I find that. Alex Leicester isn’t to bad and some of the pre recorded Sara Cox stuff isn’t to offensive either, rest of it is ■■■■ though.
We’re not exactly spoilt for choice down this end, its the above, radio “bailer twine”, or bloody local radio with 10 minutes of adds for each tune they play.

What do you like? I could give you a list of what i have but its mostly: poprock, rock, punk, post-■■■■■■■■. that sort of stuff.,

I tend to mix it up with a range of different music; 80s compilation CDs, Green Day, MCR, Bowie, Dolly Parton, The Jam, Dire Straits, ■■■ Pistols, whatever I fancy at the time really, and some nights I just enjoy the peace and quiet and the sound of the engine

Gembo:

i love Sara Cox. her voice is awesome.

Some less-than-mainstream bands in the rock genre well worth checking out :

3 Colours Red
A Perfect Circle
Candlebox
China Drum
Filter
Puddle Of Mudd
The Wannadies
Stray Dog

As in everything, you gotta pick the bones out, but some good ■■■■ in that there selection.

On iplayer ‘Sounds of the 20th century’ is well worth a listen if you’re in the 35-50 age band.

Sounds of the moment (or retromoment),

OPM (Menace To Sobriety & Golden State of Mind albums), NWA, The Who, Zep, Sabbath (Paranoid album), Never mind the ■■■■■■■■, SLF, The Business - official bootleg, Colonel Kilgore’s Vietnamese Formation Surf Team (google it) to name today’s choices.

Alway have a copies of Stephen Lynch cd’s to listen to whilst driving.
