I will normally have some form of dance music on like the clubland cds, clubland xtreme ■■■■■■■■ 4, ■■■■■■■■ till i die or darren styles, all very good cds!
I have an i trip, which is one of the best things ive bought since starting driving! I have about 3 days worth of music and tv shows on my i pod which keeps me entertained on the long journeys.
Cant beat Chris Moyles in the morning aswell.

Now where talking thats the kind of music you need to listen to people!

Considering the average age of a HGV driver is eh! quite old  I don’t think you’re going to get to many votes for ■■■■■■■■ club anthens and if you want to get a bit of serious foot tapping, (well I’ve got an Ishift so it’s exercise for my left foot. ) Can’t beat a bit of Flogging Molly.

Haha your right there

Start with Alex Lester then on to the Dopey ol mare Kennedy, when will they get rid of her, she is so crap she is funny!!!
Wogan is now rubbish you can’t understand or hear him vey well, Ken the Bruce…Yawn…Jeremy wotsit wot a boring ■■■■…Steve Wright needs to update his show it is getting stale, Chris Evans now he is good didn’t like him at first but he has grown on me big time, Stuart Maconie and Mark Radcliffe are good quite funny. The one presnter who should come back is the bloke who stands in for them The one and only legend JONNIE WALKER
Apart from that I do like to listen to Supertramp, The Eagles, and stuff from the 70s on cds.

I can plug my ipod directly into the blaupunkt and speakers are the dogs b’s in tut scania. I-tunes is the truckers best friend.

Got about 20gigs of music so enough to keep me going, anything from drum and bass, hard house, trance to opera to jazz to classical to a bit of creedance clearwater revival!

Can’t stand the radio to be honest either too many ads or too much talking. Classic FM, any BBC apart from one, KISS and Galaxy (especially oop north with that slapper who laughs like a drain on Hursty’s daily dose) are the ones I listen to if i’m in a truck without the ipod, i do have one of those i-trips which you can play through the stereo but the interferance you get from time to time does my head in.

Was in a newish Daf XF the other day and the speakers were absolutely crap, you’d think for a premium brand they’'d sort that out, loads of vibration through the plastic at high volume even with low bass.

I normally listen to my phone ringing, then I put on my rose tinted glasses and hark back to the good old days when I could have answered it!

Bluetooth headset replies neither welcomed nor wanted.

I quoted you cos the names are there but personally I cannot do with Alex Lester. Sarah Kennedy or Jeremy Whine. Wogan is an old man and Chris Evans will replace him on the top slot breakfast show.

I think Alice Richardson should be given a show as he seems to fit in well. Jonnie Walker is a good stand in but I dont think he would want to do full time since his illness.

Mconie and Radcliffe are good as is Paul Jones.

I used to turn to Gaunty when he was on to just laugh at the plebs who called in, now it is Ken Bruce again.

Who will replace Chris Evans on drivetime?

Chris Evans is a top jock Wheelnut, but unless (this) marriage has calmed him down I don’t think you’ll hear him on a breakfast slot again. The boy’s a bit of a party animal. Anyone old enough to recall his Radio 1 fiasco will probably agree.

haha

The radio - alot of Radio 1 with a few other bits mixed in - was listening to Oldham Community Radio for about 10 mins this morning before realising it wasn’t the Chris Moyles showing taking the zb!

In my car I have a USB port in the stereo with an 8G memory stick with everything from Garth Brooks to trance and commercial dance stuff…just a pity i’m never in same wagon long enough to have one fitted there…

Start off with 5 live from 7pm onward. Usually out of cab from 10- 1am. Then maybe listen to a cd (Johnny Cash, Seasick Steve, Shawn Mullins) then when Janice long has finished and I know it’s safe to put the Radio back on, its Dark Lard Alex Lester til end of shift.

SCOF… Swirling cesspool of filth

Big ends, diff, gearbox etc…

Radio 2 until Jeremy Vine comes on then its a quick button press and at the moment Judas Priest…
