iveco eurostar 430, being replaced with a 480 stralis in 7 weeks, running fridges to spain delivering anywhere on the costa’s, “the bear” i see you do the same i get into carcer & pobla llarga nearly every week now that the oranges are in season if you go there let me know, we can maybe have a drink & introduce ourselves
just changed from FH12 420 to MAN TGA 410 not a bad truck starting to get used to it especially the comfy shift , makes changing gear alot easier provided you don’t try and use the clutch pedal at the same time as pressing the button on gear stick 
what ever they put me in! mostly crap! sometimes Top kit! I treat them all as my baby!

I’m an agency driver, so I drive everything.
At the moment, I seem to be getting stuck with 7.5 tonners. I am starting to detest them.
Over the years, I’ve driven:
W plate Iveco 180e23 supercargo, which, in the end, I grew rather fond of.
Varios foden 2275 3 axle rigids with mixers on the top
Merc 1820, MAN 18t, and so on.
I’d love a regular truck of my own. Roll on next year, fingers crossed for a 6 months stint in one truck (Even if it does turn out to be a 20 year old freighshaker)
seeing as the threads still going! It was an FH12, now its a Seddon Atkinson Strato 380, that looks like a bag of [zb’s] but im pleasantly surprised as to how comfy it is, and roomy, and how well it pulls!

as i stated before currently driving MAN TGA 410, NOTICED SOME DEFECTS WITH IT heard off drivers opening doors and they fall off, my defects are minor such as internal door handle loose, casen round indicators starting to come apart. anyone heard of others that i should look out for with this new vehicle. might regret asking this ?
Well, now I am excited!! Got in from Cartagena this morning and the Boss phoned me later, told me to clear my truck and bring it down to the yard. yep, before there are any wise cracks I DID get my P45!!!
Then was given a new contract with a excellent wage rise (for being ‘senior driver’) and told we have a new owner from 2/1/04
BUT the beauty of it is I am led to believe there is a new Merc 1857 with a fitted fridge and decent horns on its way from Germany for me

I’m still in the bloody Premium Privilege 400 jobbie at the moment whilst my Scanny 530 is still in bits 
Boss is on about getting shut of the Scanny now coz it’s costing a fortune so I might end up with the XF480.

Rob, it was sposed to be a brand new Foden which then got changed to a brand new Stralis, but it seems that theres no fool like an old fool when it comes to falling for a good flannel merchant! If you see what I mean, so last week I gave him the heave ho, even though he was still insisting it would all be real in February. I just dont belive it any more!
