What do these switches do?

Hi all,

What are the 3 switches for next to the air con one? I’m guessing the one on the right is heated mirrors?

Yep mirror heater, then night heater 2nd from right, then air recirculation…useful to keep outside smells and fumes from being dragged in.

Ah right, thanks

What about these ones too?

I know the cruise control one and lights obviously.

The switch at the top left of the photo is to turn off the reversing alarm, and the switch on the bottom right is for the light in the rigid body or inside the trailer if one is fitted.

Top: Reversing alarm on/off
Cruise Control ‘main switch’ - actual control on steering wheel
Exhaust brake ‘main switch’ - pedal on middle of floor where your feet are to use
White smoke limiter

Bottom:
Sliding 5th wheel control
Interior light

Top row left to right…
1 as Toby said reverse bleeper
2 Speed limiter (i think), but might be cruise control on/off…not certain, try it
3 White smoke limiter for cold starts…never had a Scania white smoke on me so never successfully used it
4 Exhaust brake on/off(i think)

Bottom two, agree with Toby on body interior light…the other i think is the master control for a two position only 5th wheel (if so then two other switches have to operated simultaneously making accidental release nigh on impossible), or possibly the release button for a demountable body.

edit…looks like Stage Driver has the same conclusions

Thanks all

The switch under the hazard light switch is for raising and lowering the beam on the head lights for when you have a heavy or light load, i have never used that, just leave it in the middle position.
