Read this - Electric vs. hydrogen for trucks: which is better? | Adrian Flux - and its got my brain going. Not sure how I fully feel about either, despite wanting, obviously, to be environmentally friendly and all that. I’m maybe not as educated on hydrogen vehicles as I could be.
Just wondering if others have an opinion - electric or hydrogen? Neither? Is there an alternative?
Hydrogen . There just isn’t the capacity (and there never will be) to recharge batteries for the millions of vehicles on the road worldwide.
Lithium batteries ??
’ Lithium-ion batteries are generally safe during normal use, but they can pose a fire risk if mishandled, damaged, or not stored and charged properly. Incidents like overheating, overcharging, or improper disposal can lead to fires and even explosions’

That sounds like words from the early 1900’s that there isn’t enough oil around to make fuel for internal combustion engines. After all it was all being used to fill lamps for home lighting.
Where is hydrogen to come from? Green H2 comes from electricity.
Is it a safer form of energy storage than solid batteries?
H2 looks good at a glance, but just as there issues with solid batteries, so there are with H2.
