Well that’s that then, you’ve put fact after it and it is in capitals with not only one but two exclamation marks after it so I guess it must be right.
They are advertising a “New Competitive Pay Structure” so I guess they’ve upped it from last year. Maybe it was having drivers using one of their yards being paid almost twice as much that did it.

You cannot include night out money. That is an allowance paid to cover the costs of not being at home. So given it could easily be £100 a week we can knock £3,000 off that figure so £17500 for 30 weeks = £583. Divide by 62 gives £9.40 an hour. An improvement over what they were paying last year and definitely an improvement over the “just above minimum wage” rates of a few years ago.

4 nights out I barely do a 5th night I think I’ve done 3 night out is £22.5

I guess the only real way to find out what a company is like to work for, is to actually work for them, but that said I am more of a ‘twighlight and night-trunk’ driver and have been doing that for quite a while mainly though agencies, on between £12.50 and £13.50 per hour, starting late afternoons and home by 2/3 a.m. So I may well just continue doing what I am doing.
Keedwell’s have been advertising for night trunk drivers, which is what attracted me to the attention of the ad, but I dare say I will find out more at the ‘interview’. I will keep an open mind until then.

Stick with the work you have would be my advice, you will do more hours with keedwell to make the same money you are on now.

Hull depot and Hensall is £9.75 per/hour plus £22.50 night out. Parking on snap account or use their depots. I hated it along with lots of others. Other depots are better. Hull and Hensall are bad depots with high driver turn over. Every depot is run differently, one my be [zb] and another Ok.I met one of these haters once when I first started with them I asked him “how long have you been with them” the response “11 years”
Keedwells is a good job, money for old rope.
