Try strapping down and throwing ratchet straps over a full load of bulk fertiliser bags at Ince in hot weather.
Done that in the days of roping and sheeting and then handballing the lot off. IIRC it was 35 cwt to a skid.
I loaded a flat trailer at Ince and roped and sheeted it in hot weather. You just do everything much slower.
I remember loading a lorry in North Africa at 48 deg C in the shade. We simply worked at a manageable pace - ie much slower. We just have to teach some of the jobsworths here to respect prevailing conditions!
Poor snowflakes can’t cope bit of warm weather can’t work to hot or they demand fans Aircon offices etc etc.
Gets cold can’t come in today to cold outside.
Rest of us normal people just take precautions drink plenty regual stops take it slower.
The snowflakes refuse to work.
Imagine. Asking them to sleep in a truck over night on this weather would be am eye opener for them.
Imagine if thet were electric buses and they ran Aircon cool passenger down.
Be flat battery before get to end of the route
Why would you strap down and then throw ratchet straps over the load? . . . give it a rest Tobes
Fannies. Better than it p issing down. Enjoy it while it lasts!
