You make a point there but what i was saying is that you have to instil the morals of what is right and wrong throwing stones at anything be it animal, veh or someone in the street ,when my lad was ten he knew that a stone was going to hurt someone if he threw it ,I have a housefull in the holidays they all seem to congregate here beacause they are welcome not turfed out onto street I try and talk to them instead of balling at them dont get me wrong i can still tell em off when they need it ,just trying to make point that some kids have no direction and are left to run wild , give them something to do I will put myself out and take them up to the golf course or load all the fishing gear into the car , yes they still do something that they would get a telling off for but hopefully i have taught them enough not to put lives in danger and consequences to anything they do jenniex

I hear what you’re saying about the parents, it has to be a major factor in a lot of kiddie crimes today, there seems to be a total lack of disipline, nowadays it’s parenting by volume, usually full of ■■■■■■ & blinding in the middle of a supermarket, but kids are kids, I was a right little [zb]er when I was a kid, my Mum & Dad were not left wing liberals & I never got away with anything (unless I didn’t get caught) but I still did a lot of very silly things that could’ve had disastrous consequences. A kid living near me had decent parents, yet he stabbed & killed someone at 14yrs old, he has two sisters, they’re normal law abing people, so you can’t always blame the parents.

I’m with you Malc, but it’s very easy to assume that it’s down to bad parenting, most of the time it is, but not always, there was an email going around a while ago describing two sets of parents, one set were schoolteachers/librarian types, the other couple were a drunken sailor & a ■■■■■, (or similar) the question asked which parents should have had a forced abortion, they both had children, one child was Beethoven, the other, Adolf Hitler, I’ll let you guess which was the son of the decent couple

No one questions the fact that the driver ran into the back of a truck hard enough to kill his passenger.
I’m with you Santa. Sure the kids chucking stones have done wrong but what if the truck had stopped because of puncture/breakdown. Would that really have changed the fact that there was a rear impact accident in which someone lost thier life?
