This part of Skoda (known also as Liaz) went busted in 1999. But just before they went busted, they made couple of hundreds of quite interesting tractors called Å¡koda xena:
This was quite modern vehicle, it had Detroit Engines, 430 or 490 HP, 8+8 gearboxes, and according to it’s slovak user from one internet forum it was very nice to drive, quite comfortable, good turning circle and acceleration, very good storage space in the cab and he bought it new in 1999 for a price of 3 years old MAN of similar class. On the downside poor brakes and that the cab went rusted very fast: when 3 years old it looked like it was in its teens. And he replaced it with volvo FH and if he would have a choice to buy volvo or another skoda, he would go for skoda, as he said that it was cheaper while still offering very good value for money.
