I used to night out near Heathrow and often met up with a Fagan & Whalley driver, he had worked for them for a long time and was very happy with his lot.
Don’t know about Whalley but according to Oliver Twist that Fagin was a right sod to work for.
Hard work and running home Saturday for trampers and a lot of foreign drivers is what I heard a few months ago from a mate who lives in Burnley.
