Acceptable, unacceptable or merely the face of the modern “logistics solution providers”?
I’m sure that a few here would embrace what is basically a grasses charter, a few would be ambivalent and a few would hate this type of thing with a passion. I simply wouldn’t work for a company who not only wants you to report fellow workers but also go on to give you the label of “star” for doing it, presumably with a tummy rub and a pat on the head too.
I accept that we deserve a safe working environment and have no problem with workers pointing out safety issues, but I’m afraid when incentives are offered for nitpicking it would be time to move to pastures new. I know that this will be a divisive post, but it does make me hark back to the days when you were tossed your keys, delivery notes and trusted/left alone to do your job.
I was also sent this by the same guy (as you know,) but I left it to you to post, as if Rikki read it, he would get bored after the first 5 words …(especially any 4 syllable words )
I’d be all for being a ‘‘Star’’ especially if they gave me a badge, Hey… I could pretend to be a Sherriff
I’d be a right 2 hat working there, I’d simply grass everybody up…in fact I could be a Super Star.
More firms should take these schemes up imo, the guy who devised this latest ‘buzz word’. campaign, should be given a pay raise on his essential and vital job with the company…and good on him I say.
I joke about it but I’m ■■■■ aggravated, aghast and bewildered (hiya Rikki ) as to how this job has been reduced to this by these type of arse hole type firms. (type of which I would NEVER work for, although tbh I don’t even think they’d have me, as I have a brain and an outspoken attitude towards ott schoolboy type treatment, and injustices.)
Anybody who thinks this is a great idea and a step forward in the transport job is not the type of driver I want to know.
What a load of tosh! Typical of such a bean counter led logistical solution outfit. And to think they were once a decent lot, starting out as Somerset milk collectors. Absolute disgrace but we can take solace in the fact that anything they touch turns to ratshit like the rest of these logistical giants. Loath them!

it does make me wonder what would happen if a driver reported one of the office staff… if they would be labelled a star or fired
You get a bollocking for making them look idiots. In a previous job (on the railway) I close called the planning as they were getting us to access at narrow access points when there was a large wide one in the middle of the works that we couldn’t use as they hadn’t requested it. I then got a bollocking phone call off the area manager saying we had made them look idiots to the Network Rail bosses and to get on with the job, any issues to ring him as the job was critical to the project and must be done that night. On the night in question we turned up at the main access point to find the rubber mats had been removed for the tamper so we couldn’t get our machines on. The phone call to him at midnight was quite an interesting one, especially when he said to use the bigger one and we all refused as it wasn’t in the original planning and there was no way of changing it at such a late stage. I understand he had an interesting call with NWR bosses on the Monday as to why the job didn’t get done and the £25k shift got cancelled
STAR is an acronym…it has as much to do with star as GOAL in the context of driving has to do with football. Next in the news: Training companies targeted by BLM activists for using the word BLACK and some even putting it on the trailer
Ah… this bring the same outfit who has put up “sanitising stations” at a well known DIY store with orange trailers RDC in Doncaster, which is fair enough in these days.
Now they have additional warnings for the hand sanitiser warning of a risk of explosion
I did ask if any bottles have exploded, either through misuse or just plain random event, but just got looked at in a “gone out” kinda way.

Which Global blue pointy management, company is this.
Well if I said you "can’t win on"as a loose anagram you’d get it.
I have to be careful what I say about that particular shower of ■■■■■■■■■■ get extremely upset and throw their weight around to try and affect your personal life if you point out a few truths about them online
