They took over Potter Group I believe.
Why does it always have to be “tramping” rather than “trunking” and not over a max of 3 nights out at that?
3x15 hours with 3x9 hours parked in a layby - is a 45 hour working week right there…
“If I’m not at home, I want to be being paid, or at least not having my time wasted”.
I assume those quoted figures for wages are take home per week including your nights out and anything else

This ■■■■ never stops moaning, tramping & trunking are opposites FFS, how can one be the other ■■?
Which layby are we talking about ?, I had most of my lads tucked up in truckstops of THEIR choice last night……PJM, Teddington, Truckers Rest, or the customers yard…all paid for, in addition to their night out money…moan, moan, moan…STFU

Tramping - Carry your own Kettle.
Trunking - Bring a mug.

And it bloody well should be in addition to the night out money. Don’t say that like your doing a favor paying night out allowance and then parking on top. No. Money to park “YOUR” truck safely somewhere isn’t what a drivers night out allowance is for.

Who said it was ?
I pay for everything, and the night out allowance is extra, on top of a very decent wedge [their words, not mine]….
So, your point is again ?
Some companies don’t pay for parking and say to drivers that if they want to pay for somewhere then it can come out of the allowance. The way you said “in addition to” sounded a bit like you were saying it’s a bonus you pay parking AND pay night allowance. If that’s not how you meant it then fair enough and I misunderstood. It really winds me up when a company thinks they are doing drivers a favour by paying parking AND paying night out.

Same here, the stories I get told of how drivers are treated by some employers boils my p1$$….
I pay for everything, even driver damage, as long as it is a once in a blue moon occurrence
Drive safely, and have a good day…
