Theres a McDonalds at Merlin Bridge just down the road.
I didnt get a chance to see any alternatives or other food places as I ended up going about 4 miles down a country road looking for a place to turn round and I drive a rigid so if you do go that way, try not to miss Tesco as it might be a bugger to turn around after that.
If you ask the locals you will probably get a better place anyway. , I just dont like to stop and ask, i’m too proud,
Ok, I have just thought of another, but its at Pembrooke. As you go along the A477 into pembrooke, theres a new Tesco on the retail park just as you go in on the left.
Theres a DIY place with a good car park and I have noticed a few artics in there. Its a good place to get some internet if you have a laptop as you are right next to the McDonalds. May be of interest you your young 'un.
As you guessed, I do alot of Tesco drops, just usually when they are being built so I dont get to benefit from the BOGOF offers,
I wonder if the aerodrome car-park is open over-night? The aerodrome centre is also the driver testing centre. Great breakfast there too. I know that Mansel Davies have a yard in Letterston which would be pretty quiete night time. I suppose you could ask them if possible to park there…tel 01239 831 631. I am sure they could suggest a place to park if not…
Darby Flyer:
I know its not ideal, but there is always Tesco at Haverfordwest itself.
Its not a 24 hour one as far as I am aware and if you go in by the back entrance(The construction one) on the B4327 Portfield, its not gated.
I delivered there and arrived the night before. I didnt realise I could have parked up and ended up on some back lane to bloody nowhere,
It is now 24 hour, and it’s not in the best part of town so i’d avoid it if I were you. If you do happen to be in the town go down to Morrisons and take the turn into their delivery access, puts you onto the cattle market and you can park there.
What about ringing your first drop, and explaining that your daughter is travelling with you?
I’m sure they would accomodate you,and look after you as well.
Usually, people are a sucker for young’uns, and go out of their way to help, unless the farmer is a cantankerous old ■■■■■■■■■■■hates kids.

Ken.
by do i hate that bit about hating kids, everybody including the grumpy old â– â– â– â– â– ,etc should remember they was that age once.and was just a big a pain in the arse.
Knowing how things have a habit of going towards the shape of a pear i may not even make the area for Tues night but i’ll keep your suggestions in mind, i seem to find myself down that way at least twice a month.
I’ve found most farmers are ok as long as you dont start talking about money!!
We all know theyre that skint they can only have a new Range Rover every other year !!
