Never been near it ,so I’m wondering is there parking near it ,or is it best too get train In ,or make a w/end of it ,stop at hotel .
Parking will be a car ,thanks
I used wembleywasp.com when I went to watch boxing close to stadium and quick exit hope it helps
They stop all non-resident parking in the streets anytime there’s a gig or other event on at the stadium, so don’t even think of driving if that’s the reason. It’s part of Brent borough so look on their website for info on parking at other times.
Park at Hillingdon Underground station (easy to find, about three or four miles off the M25 and right off the A40) and then get the Metropolitan line to Wembley Park. Car park at Hillingdon is huge and always has spaces, even in the week.
Whenever I’ve been to the stadium or the arena for a gig as a punter I’ve parked in the industrial estate area nearby, most of the units let their spaces out for cash in hand, one guy in a hi-vis at the entrance, directs you to whichever unit.
Never had any problems, much cheaper than official Wembley parking and if you know some shortcuts you can get out a hell of a lot quicker.
London hotel , not spending you redundancy money before you’ve got it are you ?
Regards. John.
Parked at Wembley a few years back for a lee Evans crack £20 for the night.!
Numerous hotels within walking distance but you know there prices will def be going up.
Train it is…
Are you going to a gig there? There are carparks dotted around the gigs, and many more pop up here and there on show and event days, some of the hotels offer parking on gig days and you don’t have to be a guest but expect the prices to go up on gig and events days. If you go down the hotel route there are some virtually next door, but if you don’t mind be clever and look a few miles away from the gig and you’ll find loads and probably get a better deal on price. There is a big holiday inn opposite Brent Cross shopping centre and its only a short cab ride to the arena/stadium from there. I looked at the new Hilton right next to the gigs as i’m going to the Foo Fighters next month, but soon sussed that on that night the prices are double and they want £400 bloody quid, they can poke it
I went to a gig there looked on Gumtree and people were renting a space on their drive. £10 pay when you get there. 5 mins walk without the hassle of trying to get off an official car park at the same time as 100s of other people. We were in the car and gone without hitting any traffic.
i have always used this
Before they rebuilt the stadium you could park a truck overnight on Wembley industrial estate. It was very handy for the North Circular Road, or routes into central London, not sue if there are restrictions these days.
Don’t demolish the stadium, I don’t think your insurance could afford the pay out.
Carryfast will be along soon for a fifty page seminar on the use of braking and gears on an A frame trailer, the rise and fall of the Two Ronnied, Harold Steptoes and sons combined with the Russian revolution with Doctor Zhivago .
