Dave the Renegade:

drewster:
milkys truck

Cracking pc’s drewster, whats the payload of the Daf with the low trailer  .
Cheers Dave.

hi dave when i worked in criggion we nicknamed the daf the pram because of its small liftup axle but milky didnt care ,with the lightweight axle and lightweight kelberg trailer he could carry a 30 ton 600 kg payload.i think he used to carry 1 ton more than the erf and 2 ton more than a lot of hauliers who had bulk trailers, not bad for a pram

A very appropriate number plate on this one.

Hi drewster,
There were one or two Foden artics with aggregate trailers that carried 30 tons this way,but that one beats them.
Cheers Dave.

Another STGO heavy haulier.

H & N Bounds run a smart fleet of yellow artics and rigids from their Chepstow base,we see quite a few of them this way.

A timber hauling tractor unit looking very smart.

I think Gareth Smart had a second with his Volvo FM tipper. He has always kept his lorry in show condition.

Another view of Gareth’s Volvo.

Hi John,
I always think a yellow lorry with blue lettering looks smart.
Cheers Dave.

cheers

Yes they seem to run an all Volvo fleet nowadays John.
Cheers Dave.

A couple of tidy muckaway tippers.

This one hasn’t come far to the show, from Whitemill just the other side of Carmarthen.

This one has a few murals on it.I wouldn’t like to pay the cost for those !.

Another Scania from Whitemill.

Scania looking a bit plain up against some of the others,no offence to the owner.

Jaga Brothers from Caldicot had quite a few of their vehicles at the show.
