Hi Dave,
Probably now that John Percy RIP is no longer there. Will have to see what else Brian has.
Cheers Dave
Burgoynes are a big Tenting firm, erecting marquees all over th UK at big shows etc,as well as being hauliers, they have a seperate fleet on the tenting, here’s one of their Transits having a wash a few years back.
Brian Lloyd with one of Burgoynes Seddon-Atkinson’s hooked to a lowloader moving a Dumper for Kington Plant operator Alf Lloyd. This unit is in the colours of Parker & Kislingbury of Eardisley, who Burgoynes did a lot of haulage for.

We had one of those “Dodge” (Simca) 1100 pick-ups as a workshop run about - Went like like a rocket

Hi Steve,
Burgoynes still have a lot of small trucks, mostly LDV Sherpa crewcabs used on the marquee, when there is a big show on,it’s quite common to meet 4 or 5 with blokes in coming back to their yard also several of their lorries used on that side of it.
Cheers Dave.
Brian’s Sed/Atki seen in Burgoynes yard at Lyonshall.
Brian has a great photograph of an old Kington haulage firm called Powell & Llewellyn,as it is a frame photo and very rare I didn’t take it out,but he is going to have a go himself,so watch this space.
Dave the Renegade:
Another Commer, but looked smaller than the Maxiload.
definate maxiload dave wide mud gaurds and ten stud wheels proper truck
You are probably right R975ENC,drove a Maxiload in the late 60’s,looked bigger than that one,but there was a smaller Commer there, getting confused in my old age .
Cheers Dave.
Def. a Maxiload - it’s Johnny Murphy’s - sounds awesome but unfortunately not as fast as it sounds!!
Dave the Renegade: A BRS moter at one time, nicely preserved.
Dave - Do you have a pic of the McGoverns Bulker by the side of this one ?
Cheers
Steve
Possibly Steve,we did a circuit around the show taking pics, then we went around again and got some more, probably duplicated some.
Hope you don’t mind, Dave - here it is in wetter climes on the recent Bomber county road run
