This Volvo looked a mean machine.
You would want to be fairly tall to see over the nose of this one,out of the cab.
Viewed from another angle, this Volvo still looks good.
Scammell Scarab, mainly used for in town deliveries and inter factory shunting. Bulmers at Hereford had quite a few of these running from one plant to another a few years back.
Possibly not in the show, but there to bring in the old one’s.
Judging by the name on the door, this is what the FH brought along.
Only a Gardner 150,but I bet she would go up the steepest of banks with a lot of weight…at her own speed.
Another Scammell heavy haulage tractor.

Hi Dave, simply love the look of this F88 trotter, still looks like it could do a good days work, keeping up with the best and beating a good many, might even come out of “retirement” to man it.
best regards Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
You must still be out selling and not back on the tanker, going by your retirement remark. You could take the family on holiday in that pod on the back of the Volvo, only trouble would be the amount of fuel she would use.
Cheers Dave.
Dog tired at Gaydon
.
Strange to see a German unit with BRS on it.
A couple more classic’s from Smith Bros.
■■■■■■■■ powered Atki still looking good.

I don’t go to the pub Andrew, not one near me,only the Crown at Walton. I like a drink of beer, but not risking my license driving to the pub. I prefer to have a drink at home, also it’s cheaper.
Watch out for the wildlife on the night maneuverer’s.
Cheers Dave.
Hi Dave, ■■■■ good blues song by George Throughgood about drinking at home !!, he also did a good tuckers one about a gearjammer, dont know what sort of music your into but worth checking out. Anyway always thought some of the best manovers happen at night, and cant wait to get behind a wagon wheel again, even ifts only a couple of nights a week, enjoying the sales job to give it up, and the money will come in usefull
regards Andrew

Hi Dave, best song on the George Throughgood & the Destroyers CD is Bad to the Bone, but a great blues & Rock band. Got to agree about Radio 2, great station, although Mike Write takes a bit of listening to, but then again thats the time to go to radio 4 (Archers and play for the day) Did get to see Johnny Walker at Hay festival a couple of years ago, now theres a chap with good taste in music.
regards Andrew.
