Hi Dave. Would this be the one from Hereford that you mention.Looks to be quite a fair size outfit he seems to have run about everything -Tippers-Flats-Curtainsiders-Heavy Recovery even a couple of Tankers in there day.I notice the one you have just put on (modern day gear very nice)09 plate MAN.

Hi John,
You learn something every day,didn’t know Tracy Read was a relation to the other Read’s,obvious when you think about it.
Richard Read had a brother in Hereford,not sure if it was Fred. I may be wrong about him having a brother in Hereford. On the Hereford thread,in the first few pages,the Read familiy are mentioned.

t j read were located on the road in from lettoto hereford a little way past the old bp garage on the right hand side theier yard has now been built over i think there was a roofing firm there.t j read main bussiness was land drainage for local farmers as well as large firms like bulmers
