Hi Tony,
Yes did see the American moter you posted, did get pic’s of that and a load of others.I couldn’t really say which was my favourate truck,as I like any lorry, and there was some smart vehicles there.I like to see the contrast in size and styles through the years, not that there were that many old one’s. Suppose a vintage show is the one for those. It was a very good show and we really enjoyed it,and the weather stayed good.
Cheers Dave.

We all know you only like one marque Dave !!! Bedford!!! so might I suggest you look on the A65 Thread and there is a Bedford on there that would have only meant you had to go up and down the Vale of Neath ONCE a day instead of three times with the TK !! Dennis.

Wrong about that one Dennis, you old winder !! My favorate truck that I drove was a Commer Maxiload I drove for
C W Griffiths,had a TS3 two stroke,and was a proper lorry compared to a TK.
cHeers Dave

Aye OK Dave but if the Maxiloader was an 8 wheeler it would never have got up the “Vale” Cheers Dennis.

It was a 16 ton gross four wheeler Dennis and it would have given your Ford V8 a roasting.
Cheers Dave.
Here’s one for you Dennis, try sucking this Magnum.

Hi Dennis,
Clarence Griffiths Commer Maxiload could see off a Ford D1000 with a 360 turbo,no problem, also the D1614 with the V8,also the Bedford KM would stay with them…We had two six wheelers on C M Philpotts D800 with the 360 turbo, they used to go well, they outpulled the Leyland and Albion six wheelers in those days.
Cheers Dave.
A smart looking eight wheeler on the Renault stand at Oswestry Truckshow.
Not my type of thing, but some people like them.Tracy being one.
