Drove a couple of TK’s myself John, also a KM which had a lot more power,it’s amazing how many TK’s were on the road in the 60doing all sorts of haulage including long distance work, carrying a 10 ton payload at 14 ton gross.

The TK was a nice truck in there day Dave, nice to drive after some of the stuff that was on the road then. I realy liked the one I had, and she was quite old when I got her but had been well looked after. Like you I moved on to KM’s I liked them even more.
cheers
John

Quite agree John,a 16 tonner was thought of as a big lorry, now a 26 ton six wheeler is thought of as not big enough, different day and age.
Cheers Dave.

Hi John,
Haven’t seen him to speak to lately, but as far as I know he’s ok. Did see him outside his sister’s place in the next village a couple of weeks ago,as I passed by.
Cheers Dave.

Hi Dave
That’s some good pic’s you have got from Jet, let’s hope he has plenty of them, most of all thank you for putting them on Dave, this is one hell of thread and it will be a sad day when the pic’s run out. I’m sure you and a few others on here will find a way of keeping it going, as long as you can.
ps. thanks for the info on Norman good to know he’s still kicking about.
cheers
John.
