Hi Dave, Johnie was a cracking driver,(apart from the summer when he used to sport a pair of Daily Tompson shorts !!.  )used to drive a Scania drawbar outfit for Crowthers before he worked for me,unfortunatly he suffered a tripple hart attack in his late thirties,he survived them thank goodness, but of course he lost his driving licence and I lost a first class driver,it was a tragic day and a great loss when he left,(didnt miss those shorts though).
regards Andrew.

At least he survived Andrew, can’t say that I know him, don’t know many drivers from the Shropshire side, which I presume he’s from if he drove for Crowthers.
Cheers Dave.

just found this picture of my old F10 “Lady Mandy” Loaded with BSW timber.

Hi Dave, yes Johnie used to live in Kempton, although when I last saw him he was in Lydbury North, after he drove the “little” 112 I put him on this intercooler,he even had his own personal plate!! (C542 JON)

hiya,
Very tidy motors Andrew and none of the horrible bling, they sure look swell without all the silly add-ons.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Andrew,
I remember the lorries, but not the drivers, obviously remember Rhys and Derek because they were with you a long time, also Dennis Burton was with you at one time I think, can probably remember more.
Cheers Dave.
