It’s just before Brampton Bryan ( Knighton side) with Bucknell Wood in the background

Hi Dave yeh recon it is on the A4113 just before Chris Tranters, 1st thought was that it was on top of Spring Hill,by the Obley turn, but would have tested the driver over Clun Bridge  ,had it been I would put money on him whishing that he wouldnt have to go over it again,
But my money is on Brampton Bryan.
rergards Andrew.

Hi Andrew, Is that Rhys Jones’ first lorry?

Hi atkidave, no Rhys`s first motor was a S reg Volvo F10, remember that it was SAL…S, it was a white unit with a blue stripe, think she had what Volvo called the “E” engine, about 250bhp, I remember that it was a big change in power when he had the F12, she was a ex heavy haulage unit, 385 bhp and hub reduction axle, would climb the side of a house, but was a bit heavy.Brian Kitchen had a 142 V8 which Brian had played with, so gave big power, but I wouldnt like to put money on which motor pulled the best.
best regards Andrew.
