Don’t know the answer to that one Graham.I only got chatting to one retired driver there. He was like us just having a look around. No one was standing around to long as the east wind was a bit thin.I expect someone on here will know a bit about the Scammell.
Cheers Dave.
Another pic of the ERF.
The sun was in the wrong place to get a good pic of this Leyland wrecker.
We see this Bedford KM at a few shows. The KM’s bring back a lot of memories for me as I drove one for
C M Philpotts for most of the time I was there as my regular lorry.

The Scammell belongs to Dave Stretton who works on recovery for the Cowan Group. The motor is ex Standard Motor Transport, hence the livery but with the name Stretton in place of Standard.
Nice pictures Dave, did you see that ERF Olympic tanker that called in. Still working and older than that Volvo FL by the pallets.

Yes classicman the artic tanker pulled up alongside my red Transit as we were about to leave.I didn’t know who were Trucknet members there to have a word with.It was a nice little gathering, just a pity that a few more lorries weren’t there.
Cheers Dave.
