Not a Welsh Border tipper, but a tipper heading for the Welsh Border Quarries. J D Precious & Co Scania artic Bulk tipper from Stowmarket in Suffolk coming up the staircase on the A4111 towards Bollingham near Kington.


R C & D L Pardoe of Ledbury Scania 113 seen on the A438 near Garnons Castle. They ran an Atkinson Borderer up until three or four years ago delivering Hay and Straw around the country.

One of A L Jones of Corwen, leaving the Merton Meadow park at Hereford, got the pic as we had to stop,because the pothole in front of us was big enough to bury a lorry in.

Not a tipper, not a lorry, but a Bedford Bus,seen this one for years parked at Llanon West Wales,between Aberystwyth and Aberaeron. This chap used to have a BMC ■■ tipper parked there as well, haven’t seen that lately,will have to ask Alan Spillett of Roadscapes,who lives nearby,whats happened to the lorry.
