Edward Mayglothling from Kington runs these Daf artics on general haulage, also runs two tippers out of Strinds-Dolyhir quarries.

Y509UCC Hogan Group from Bangor North Wales old unit.

Edward doesn’t buy new artics, he had the tippers new, keeps most of his kit tidy and a long time.

One of C & G Blandfords, bulk bowing artic tippers, coming out of a farm near Eardisley.

Dave,

Thanks for posting the Sharples fleet pics.
It was interesting to see F727 EAV as this old girl had started life up in my neck of the woods (Cambridgeshire) and was new to Bolton Haulage of St Neots Cambs.

Cheers
Mark

Hi Mark,
Sharples had a spell of buying second hand wagons a few years ago, then went back to buying new again. Don,t know if they had trouble with the second hand one’s, they had their own mechanic.
I still have a few more of theirs to post, mostly pics of Alpha’s same as what Ive already posted. Jean will probably have found some more by the time I take these back.
Cheers Dave.

IThanks Dave,

Its always intersting to see where vehicles end up in their second life.

Have you got any pics of the Hino that they ran at the end?

Keep the pics coming mate, always appreciated.

Cheers
Mark

Here is another shot of Sharples EAV reg Foden, one of the few bought at the same period.

Sharples Alpha pictured in the yard, one of the last half dozen painted in tarmac colours, instead of their own livery.

Cheers Dave.
