L500LFO is still running every day working as a subbie for The Hogan Group, Bangor, North Wales. Owned and operated by Tecwyn Jones of Llanrug near Caernarfon, North Wales. At the age of 67 he’s not even thinking of retiring.
C M Mercer run a fleet of artics from their base near Leominster. This is one of the last Scania units they have. The rest of the fleet is now Volvo. They run most of the time on bulk tipping work, also potato haulage from their own farms and cold store.
Y2 KTH is one of two foden straight beam six wheelers bought new by KTH, Y3 is the other, both used on muck shift and quarry work. Both vehicles have the Cat 340 engine, Cat being the prefered engine in all the KTH fodens.

They only run this one now Mark and its going soon Paul has a couple more Volvo’s coming on the road shortly. I haven’t got any more pics of the Scanias, these in tarmac colours were only taken a week ago.
