It is with a heavy heart I’m afraid I have some awful news for anyone who has been watching this thread from its inception,I was informed by Tracey that Dave has passed on after a short illness,I’m sure that I and everyone would want to offer their sincere condolences to Tracey and Daves remaining family,I for one can say it was an absolute honour to have known you and called you a friend, you will be sorely missed
Rest in peace Mate
I was just about to post this terrible news after hearing from Tracy. A true friend at the moment words fail me. RIP Dave you will be sadly missed by all who knew you.
RIP Dave, news came as a total shock, Altitude pm’d me just now. A trucknet legend with always something interesting to say/post. It was Daves’ pictures of Leyland Bisons that first drew me to TNUK. Always thought of you when I used to deliver flour out on the Welsh border.
Nathan.
R.I.P Dave. Will miss your knowledge of the Welsh Border truck scene.
Pursy

Blimey, that’s a shock! I was hoping to meet Dave later this year, we were going to visit him a couple of years ago but the snow kyboshed that plan and then the missus became ill etc so it never happened. Now it never will alas. RIP Dave and thank’s for everything including your advice on all things connected to my wifes disability and what she was entitled to, my commiserations to Tracey of course.
Pete.

Sad news indeed. I followed Dave’s threads from the start here on TNUK.
