The future Mrs Richards stood by the Albion.

Hiya,
It’s a six wheeler I know but the bodywork on this looks very heavy, maybe it isn’t
but it gives me the impression she tares off at quite a lot, then again I don’t know
anything about animal transport, the nearest I got was when I picked a MAT tilt
up at Dover loaded for Bradford and Manchester loaded with rocking horses just
in time for the Christmas rush Oh’ and there was a couple of extras on board it
must have been an Italian guy at the loading end Milan who couldn’t count or just
bunged em’ on until it was full but it did keep me in beer money for a couple of
weekends, well they were good quality and both customers gave clear signatures.
thanks harry, long retired.

Looks like another ex Pugh of Clunton wagon, going by the Shropshire registration Harry. My cousin ran his own livestock wagons and they always tared heavy. He ran six wheelers and reckoned that he needed the volume rather than weight payload for hauling cattle.
Cheers Dave.

Neil with a load to take to the breakers yard for Bill Knill. Including one of Roberts of Knighton’s old Leyland Clydesdales.

This was Ted Gillum’s wagon before G T Middleton acquired it.

Dave and Tracy , a very Merry Christmas to you both , cc.
