Good feature in this months’ Trucking about Breedon 8wheelers Dave. Foden v Daf CF. As usual no clear “this truck’s better” (can’t upset Daf) but it was a good read.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a decent looking Hope mixer, Dave. I get the impression that the best mixers stayed with Tarmac. We deliver a bit to cotswold builders and the concensus is that Huntsmans’ are not the firm they once were now Breedon own them. I think all orders go through one office rather than through Naunton quarry.

Hundred House is on A442 just before island at Sutton Maddock, Apley estates behind it so they may have been working out of there?
