Dave the Renegade:
Hello Dave,
Most if not all truck manufacturers of today have a very sinister attitude in telling buyers what the best options are for the operation that they are involved in, It is the buyer that should be telling the manufacturer what is needed not the other way around, That is why many heavy haulage trucks are of a bespoke nature as many of the options that truck builders would prefer you to take would be little better than useless, But they are the builders and they know more about the job than the people on the ground,![]()

.
I can’t understand anyone manufacturing goods or building vehicles not listening to their customers Graham. At the end of the day its you and the other drivers and operators that can evaluate them far better than they can.
Cheers Dave.
Hiya,
A backward step if you ask me in days of the likes of the big Brit lorry builders
you could have exactly what you asked for, the trailer builders still make for
you exactly what you request and that should be the norm.
thanks harry, long retired.

Same area as me Geraint. Radnor Valley,he drives the T cab himself when its used. He was at the show. I did raise my hand to him, he was with someone else. We were there for three hours today, then returned home, before popping back to Kington to get photo’s of wagons coming out of the vintage show.
I have been lent some good pics in an album which I will scan off. Still uploading todays first.
Cheers Dave.

Its a shame I didn’t get to meet you. I drove around quite a bit of the show in my sprinter, other than when I was on the tarmac chatting to friends for an hour.
Cheers Dave,
Trucket’s jonmea owns this smart Scania 113, and travelled to Hereford from North Wales. We had a good chat with Merfyn, who we hadn’t seen since last year.

Hi, Dave, Saw that B-series in Ross Roadways livery parked in Fairford on a Saturday night a few weeks ago looking fabulous. Does Paul live in the area, do you know?

He lives local at Fownhope Casey, and runs a Volvo FH artic on bulk haulage. Got a lot more pics to post later from Hereford and Kington.
Cheers Dave.
