Cracking pics once again James. And no Keith I haven,t been on holiday, did have a night at Gobowen last Tuesday for routine check up. All went well and had discharge on Wednesday. Had no broadband at home since last Wednesday, and won,t see a BT engineer until next Thursday. Just got back online by
wifi into my next door neighbours hub.

Yes Casey, ourselves and one of our neighbours have been out since last Wednesday evening. Won’t see an engineer until next Thursday. Wi Fi off another neighbour at moment. BT are going to get a nasty phone call in morning, now that I know that we are not alone. We established that its not our equipment at fault yesterday, so the morning.

What prompted me to ask was that my daughter is always having trouble with her BT and one of my neighbours has been without hers for three weeks.
If you blast them on the phone, ask them about compensation- they will pay if you whinge enough but it doesn’t make up for such a sloppy service from the longest-established comms company in the country.

Wasn’t happy at all Casey,as I was away for a day, and had a lot of emails and stuff to catch up with regarding my part-time work. I can’t type very fast with this laptop,as my fingers weren’t made for laptop keys… Luckily a good mate lives next door and I’m working this off his hub.
I don’t take a hammer to anything Harry, as it costs money to replace things.

switch to plus net dave , wholly owned by bt , but second to none for service . i’ve only had one glitch ( due to our antique exchange ) and they had it sorted in a couple pf hours . it isn’t expensive , i pay about 35 pounds a month and that includes the phone line . cheers , dave

Its something at the exchange Dave, after it is sorted I will look at other options. One of my neighbours is also without broadband. Good job my mate next door is still got a service for me to wi fi off.

That’s a bit extreme BriLawley bros they have the old mobile sawmill that goes to the shows / steam rally’s . .
I find that stuff fascinating could watch that sort of machine for hours !

That pic was taken at Onibury and as you local’s know there’s a railway line there…the people in the white cottage complained because when a train went by it would splatter mud up their wall…can you imagine that these days!
