Its a stepframe Dave So It must be a tipper, , But how the driver gets the sheet onto the load is a mystery to me , But Im sure someone on this thread will have the answer Eh, Regards Larry.Yes Larry, didn’t look at the step in the trailer. Its an Oswestry firm, so someone on here will know.
Cheers Dave.Hello dave thats Greyroads from yes Oswestry and is probably a tipper as they do scrap out of Shotton down to S Wales , they did scrap offcuts from GKn sankey at Wellington at one time . they may have walking floors aswell as they do the wood chip thank you Trevor ,
Could be either from South Wales Trevor. I remember them as Greyhound Plant in the 70’s or 80’s. They had several Scania 111 running with bulk tipping trailers. I expect you are right Casey, probably an easy sheet system.
Cheers Dave.
You’re right, Dave. Basically just a body-shaped hinged frame with a net or sheet stretched over it. It’s built to comply with the requirements of Big Brother with regard to bits flying off the load. Like wot they did with me many years ago- £30 fine!

All old Herefordshire numbers Keith on the five lorries, he just leaves the numbers that came on the tractors which he changes every couple of years.
Cheers Dave.

A Scania artic, seen on the A470 at Libanus, near Brecon.Great photo Dave, I wonder how that sheet system works ■■?, Its the first one Ive seen like that, Regards Larry.
Hi,Larry if you look at front nearside or trailer you can see a small box on top corner with bar running down to bottom corner, this has got handle to wind frame holding net over top of load,if you look at an ejector trailer its the same system
