I think they have about 15 now Casey, but heard they have a few parked as they are short of drivers.
Cheers Dave.

I haven’t a clue Larry, as far as I know its a bulker with possibly a walking floor. What purpose the sheet has I wouldn’t know. I have this pic of one of theirs gong the opposite way later that day with a normal bulk tipping trailer.
Cheers Dave.

Its a stepframe Dave So It must be a tipper, , But how the driver gets the sheet onto the load is a mystery to me , But Im sure someone on this thread will have the answer Eh, Regards Larry.

Yes Larry, didn’t look at the step in the trailer. Its an Oswestry firm, so someone on here will know.
Cheers Dave.

On the modern ones there are two pneumatic rams which flick the whole thing over the load. Older ones (& those operated by cheapskates!) usually rely on the driver throwing a rope or strap over the trailer then running around & heaving on it while someone with a flt or a long stick gives the thing a helping hand to start it off. Saves climbing on top & saves rolling & unrolling the sheet/net. The downside is that they tend to wear holes in them when hauling scrap metal but usually good for household waste.

Could be either from South Wales Trevor. I remember them as Greyhound Plant in the 70’s or 80’s. They had several Scania 111 running with bulk tipping trailers. I expect you are right Casey, probably an easy sheet system.
Cheers Dave.
