Hello Dave , by the cheshire reg , that could be ex Walter Denton from Hyde , he ran ballested Fodens like that one , thank you Trevor .

Dave the Renegade:

Whats the lowdown on this one Dan ? Roberts of Knighton ran a lot of these.
Cheers Dave.

Bloke from Stoke, I had a quick word with him then he went one way and someone else came talking to me and that was that, He’s using it then doing a bit more work, a rolling restoration I think you could safely say, eventually he said he would like a box body on with living accommodation in, the Merc 814 diesel tank is a temporary fix as the genuine ERF one is leaking and in for repair, watch this space.

Yes there are lorries there most nights. The coaches park there as well. There is a barrier that they can put across, but I think that is used when certain elements are around.
Cheers Dave.

Thanks Dave.

Thanks for the info Rob, thought someone was having a go restoring it by the filler around the cab.
Cheers Dave.

Thanks for the pics Stan. I saw Tracy Williams on the road today.
Cheers Dave.

Tracy Williams in his latest Volvo.

Some of the Gravel Run lorries at RAF Cosford on Sunday.

These were joined by more vehicles, that had been on the Shropshire Trundle road run.

Hiya,
Don’t know how he’s rolled a tipper over when carrying iron ore it flows like water
did some during a rail strike, Teesside to Consett I found the body would empty if
raised only a foot or two. something must have snapped or given way.
thanks harry, long retired.

ANOTHER ONE I FOUND FOR YOU DAVE LOOKS LIKE TIPCON.

Hi Keith,
They used to be at Clarach between Aberystwyth and Borth. Stantheman can probably tell us more about them. I haven’t seen them around for a while, but I don’t go up that way as often as I used to.
Cheers Dave.

Unusual to see a unit at these runs from this era.
