Welsh Border and Mid Wales Hauliers 1950's onwards

Ha, I see TNUK member Rob (1970 Commer) managed to find a cupful of diesel to make the trip Dave! Wouldn’t have been much fun around here, it poured with rain most of the day and the Smallwood rally was abandoned.

The Mickey Mouse Foden ballast tractor.

Evening all, Dave Im sorry that I missed meeting you and the others…still working even in the pouring rain!!!

When I look at that little “Micky Mouse” I can hardly believe that I punched one of those up and down to Sicily in the 60s, and felt that I was “King of the Road”…12 gears and all of 150hp…what could be more desirable■■?

Thanks for the images, hope that you all had a good day.

Cheerio for now.

Looks a good turn out Dave -
Prees, in particular makes for a good location!
