H V Bowen & Sons have been trading for over a hundred years Pete,so I can imagine they would have a few bits and pieces from the past, also having a quarry, they wouldn’t short of space.
Cheers Dave.

No Keith, they finished a few years ago. The firm were Setton & Durward and made box files and other office supplies. They ran about 18 artics and rigids all over the UK,plus a couple of subbies. Burgoynes never hauled for them, the trailers are what Hay & Brecon Farmers bought for storage.
Setton & Durwards factory along with the Vosa testing station was demolished, and a Tesco store and petrol station now occupy the site.
Cheers Dave.

The Tesco store has only been up about three years Keith. Its not the biggest around, usually fairly quiet. I only get diesel from there if I’m passing.
We usually get our shopping from Morrisons in Leominster which is the same distance as Llandrindod from here.
Cheers Dave.

Yes Pete, I have to say I do have a look, and if there is something different, my camera person is asked kindly if she could take a photo.
Her job which includes shopping for elderly people takes her in to Leominster. I just tag along for something to do, and to get some lorry pics.
Cheers Dave.
