I pass the cafes at prees now again,they never seem busy,
I think most of it is down to trucks now having fridges in them, On my 4 days at work, I rarely spend a penny,
I take everything I need with me, and can eat a decent meal, wherever and whenever I want,
And the quality of some of the meals I have had at cafes recently, I think I will stick to my own catering
But as you said dave, you get the good owners and good food, and they will still get the trade

We still call at the Buttie Box at the top end of Nesscliffe bypass when we go up to Gobowen Tony. Always good food and value there. Haven’t been up to Prees for a few months. Haven’t been on the road that much over the last few months, if we go to Leominster we usually have a meal in Morrisons which is good.

I remember Central Dairies Trevor. Can’t say I knew many from that way in the 60’s. We never traveled up that way much from here, even though its only 30+ miles away.
