Yes I remember Dilwyn Powell, he operated from Chirbury near Montgomery. I’m not sure who he is on for now. I think he packed his own business up some years ago Trevor. He could be on for A W Jenkinson, or retired.

Yes I remember Dilwyn Powell, he operated from Chirbury near Montgomery. I’m not sure who he is on for now. I think he packed his own business up some years ago Trevor. He could be on for A W Jenkinson, or retired.

Yes thats right Keith, he also had a Volvo FH,then he packed up and was working for his brother Emlyn who ran some artics doing the same job for a few years. Emlyn passed away last year, but had finished with the lorries before he was ill.

hello Dave and all, dilwyn lives now in bishops castle, and drives a Volvo 4 wheeler and some times a drag. they are farm machinery sales I think their called Pugh s. their yard is on Montgomery road out of the castle. one of my mates drove a Volvo for Dylwyn paul caddwalleder. excuse spelling

Hi Keith,
Can’t say I know him. I remember someone parking an artic opposite Tuffins, also another parked back towards Lydham in a layby. Its not a place I i travel through very often. I tend to use the A49 to go up Oswestry area even though its further, but its a better road.
