Like a lot of others, they’ve probably been downsizing over the last few years. Used to see them all over the country at one time. A bit like their near neighbours, Spiers & Hartwell- haven’t seen any of theirs for ages. Unless they’ve been swallowed up by another firm?

They still have an operators licence for 17 vehicles and 11 trailers Casey.
Cheers Dave.

That’s good- far too many of the “old firms” either packing it in or going to the wall.
Or is it me going all sentimental  :unamused:

Yes I’ve seen some of theirs recently, they all have EDC letters in the number plate, Evesham Distribution Centre I believe.

They all have triple numbers as well

They were always a very tidy fleet. One of the first to employ a woman on long distance fridge work, I believe. Good to see that they’re still in business. Thanks for the info, chaps.

hiya,
Nowt wrong with lady drivers as far as I can see, if they can do the job
let them get at it I only ever saw one driving a tipper and she managed
OK she was delivering coal to Ferrybridge power station, I do know a
young lady she posts on TNUK and although I’ve never seen her operating
she seems to manage very well and she’s only the size of twopennorth of
copper, and we all know Ang “Animal”.
thanks harry, long retired.
