Dave the Renegade:
One of Vic Haines from Pershore ERF’s,seen on the A44 at Barons Cross, Leominster.
Always a great looking fleet -
Hi Steve,
Although they are only from Pershore, apart from seeing their older stuff at shows. I rarely see their lorries on the road.
Cheers Dave.
V true – I only see them going up and down the M5
That was a rare sighting of one up this way.
Cheers Dave.
Like a lot of others, they’ve probably been downsizing over the last few years. Used to see them all over the country at one time. A bit like their near neighbours, Spiers & Hartwell- haven’t seen any of theirs for ages. Unless they’ve been swallowed up by another firm?

Yes I’ve seen some of theirs recently, they all have EDC letters in the number plate, Evesham Distribution Centre I believe.
They were always a very tidy fleet. One of the first to employ a woman on long distance fridge work, I believe. Good to see that they’re still in business. Thanks for the info, chaps.

hiya,
Nowt wrong with lady drivers as far as I can see, if they can do the job
let them get at it I only ever saw one driving a tipper and she managed
OK she was delivering coal to Ferrybridge power station, I do know a
young lady she posts on TNUK and although I’ve never seen her operating
she seems to manage very well and she’s only the size of twopennorth of
copper, and we all know Ang “Animal”.
thanks harry, long retired.
