That’s a new one to me Andrew. I didn’t realise that Connop hitched up to a mixer. My next door neighbour Geoff does relief loading shovel driving at Leinthall.
Cheers Dave.

only did it a couple of times dave, connops had some big sheds to do about 7 mile other side of clun, about 220 metres and only way they could get it there was to hire acouple of mixer trailers to get it done in a day.

I see their artics about regularly, saw one today. Thought I hadn’t seen one with a mixer. They seem to be busy.
Cheers Dave.

yeah dave they very busy at the moment, but most people have been this year, its been a good year workwise.

Same this way Andrew, several new wagons on the road, with more on the way.
Cheers Dave.

a few more

Good to see the mixers you posted , they must get moved around by breedon ,because that volvo AF05 FXT was parked sleaford last november ,and the daf lf55 1st mix BU53 ETJ was based at norton disney (lincoln) for a while and there is an 8 wheel scania at stamford…
Does anybody know what happened to the C &g concrete mixers that were based down at Haverfordwest ?,
The C& G red/white mixers have nearly all dissapeared from Lincolnshire now being replaced by the Breedon blue & yellow livery however i think there could be one old leyland constructer left at Elsham and a couple of the later daf 75 series still running around in the red colour.
