Any photos of A.E.Jones’s livestock motors? I believe they were from around Leominster or Ludlow. It was one of their’s that gave me my first glimpse of a three deck livestock container, I seem to recall it was mounted on an 8-wheeler Foden? Their livery was cream & red if memory serves me well. That must have been over fifty years ago- seems like last week!

Hi Nathan,
My next door neighbour drives a loading shovel,and he say three bucketfuls are enough to load an artic,depending on the the type of stone etc.

If it takes 3 buckets then that would be at least an L180. Smiths have an L150 and that would take 4 buckets and a bit extra. The Cat I drove you could just do it in 4. Problem with big shovels loading pickups and other Dinky Toys.
