Me and our brother like to call by once in a while, just to chat with the guys. We mainly called by to photograph the ex Pickfords Atkinson but while we were there we photographed the rest of the fleet, some older than others but all working and well looked after. The Foden pictured was in everyday use the last time we were there, maybe a couple of months back. Fairplay to them, they don’t mind us calling by and taking pictures… Good firm, not too big…

Been up by their yard a few times over the years Paul.They sound like a good firm.The hauliers this way are the same,they don’t mind us taking photo’s,several have lent us old ones to post.

Going by the logo on the front of the cab i would say it is one of John Pointons , you can usually smell them 2 miles away :imp: :imp:

Have seen their vehicles about David,never noticed the colour before…This is why I thought the one I saw was Robinson’s

I suppose Pointon’s aren’t so pink. :laughing:
