Hi Harry,
I’m afraid its no good for you as it does have a tacho. All the smaller lorries have them. This is the reqirements.
Tachograph legislation is covered by 3 different types of rules; E.C. Rules, U.K. Domestic Rules, and AETR Rules.
EC Rules apply to drivers of most goods vehicles where the MGW Maximum Gross Weight) of the vehicle, including any trailer or semi-trailer, exceeds 3.5 tonnes between the UK and other EC countries.
You could get a Landrover and stockbox which tou would be OK,but something tells me that you wouldn’t be keen on that .
Cheers Dave.

Hello Dave, this is an Imperial Tankers Merc pulling what I think is trailer number 859/370 probably loaded with Sulphuric Acid out of Runcorn heading to Llannelli. I can’t make out the reg, so I don’t who the pilot is. (my last job for 10 years, before early retiring). Now back on the road part-time!! Good thread you have here, keep it up, regards, Mizzo.
