hiya,
Bit quiet tonight Dave must be you and me who are awake, still a cracking thread and still enjoying my fill of tippers keep up the good work,I also enjoy my daily fix of “Scrapbook” but what’s happened to our Bubbs ■■.
thanks harry long retired.

Hi Harry,
I think Marc Bubbs is like a few of us running out of pics etc to put on the thread.Although oiltreader and one or two others are putting some good stuff on the scrapbook thread.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Got to agree with you oiltreader and co are doing a sterling job on the “Scrapbook” thread but Marc has made my day on a couple of occasions when posting pics of motors I’ve actually driven and having never been any good with the camera not having any record of anything I’ve ever been involved with, until I started looking at Bubb’s thread and the Northwest trucks website I had never seen any motors I’d driven, there are quite a few motors on the Old Northeast thread which I’ve found lots of my oldies posted on there, marvelous thing this TNUK, you lads have the knack of making an elderly chap happy.
thanks harry long retired.

This forum on Trucknet makes a lot of old blokes happy Harry including myself. The only picture I have of any lorry that I drove as the regular driver is a Dodge K series.I didn’t own a camera in those days,my then girlfriend did and took pictures of most of my cars and just the one lorry which I parked near home.
I still have several pics to post on here, but the old stuff has dried up until I can think of another old time haulier that I know to ask.
One of these days someone will turn up with another stack of pics of their lorries as has happened in the past. All the local drivers and hauliers know we are taking pics and putting them on here.
Cheers Dave.

Looking surprisingly straight despite being used for rollover demonstrations

I met this driver on a B road between Kingstone and the A465 Locks Garage,Herefordshire. He expected me to pass him,but I reversed back tight to the hedge while he stayed in the middle of the road :unamused:
