Welsh Border and Mid Wales Hauliers 1950's onwards

Nice to an ex Army motor at Gaydon.

do you own that bethania erf? was it you i saw this morning parked in a layby between shrewsbury and bridgnorth??

I would like to own all of 'em, Sam

As Dave has said, I’m on the wrong side of the water for that old girl… I do have a big soft spot for anything with an ERF badge on though…

Muckaway:
SDG1970, my son loved the green Cargo, he’s only 18months old and was interested in shiny wheels and diesel tanks but kept pointing at the Ford and grinning.
:sunglasses:

Thanks mate! I still think the colour stripes don’t work as well on green, as they would on white, but hey, ho, that’s just me I guess!

Dave the Renegade:

A Volvo F7 at the Retro Show.

I’ve always had an extreme soft spot for F7’s and this was a personal favourite for me. I wonder if it was originally sold by Billow’s of Kettering as it has a Northants plate??

It was a fantastic show all round and a credit to the Steelies and every exhibitor!

Older Daf seen at Gaydon.

Two more from the Retro Show.

A pair of Swedes from different factories.

Ex Walters heavy haulage Scania which was driven by Graham aka TNUK member gah1950,now for sale at Keltruck.

One that’s done a bit across the water.

Another regular on the show circuit.

A pair of V8’s from Sweden.

A closer look at H E Payne’s 143.

Another angle of these two.

A new Actros on the Mercedes stand.

Can’t say the new one looks better than the one from the 1990’s.
