A Daf CF at the show.

A couple more of the newer stuff.

Here’s a few of mine for you, Dave

The other ex George Taylor one I mentioned yesterday…

Thanks Paul for those pics.Always good to have someone elses on the thread.

A couple of German machines.

One of the really interesting vehicles at the show, was this MACK with the Dooson loading shovel on the trailer.

A smart ERF with a nice trailer.

A Daf 95 according to the plate across the front has done some heavy haulage abroad.

A smart Daf XF of Paul Hinchliffe Transport .

thanks harry, long retired.

Are the colours too garish on the Cargo■■? I was trying to recreate the Iveco colour stripes as seen in the sales brochures of the period (1988-1990). Note the Seddon in the background has similar colours also. Were the stripes Paccar too■■?

This is a 1986 Ford/Iveco press photo and what I was trying to recreate:

Its not the Cargo that Harry dislikes sdg1970.Its the Scania 81 that Harry dislikes,as he drove one years ago.
Cheers Dave.

A few more…

My favourite, I think… Very, very smart but not overdone…

This brought back a memory or two - I started with one of these :open_mouth:

For those that don’t know - I used to drive for these guys. Great firm, great lorries and great friends…

Daf 3300 at the show.

No bling on this Daf 2800.

SDG1970, my son loved the green Cargo, he’s only 18months old and was interested in shiny wheels and diesel tanks but kept pointing at the Ford and grinning.
:sunglasses:

I was bemoaning the lack of these Dafs at the Retro show last week.I forgot about these we saw parked on the grass.

I think Paul aka Piston broke is from Bristol Sam. S Jones of Bethania are from West Wales.
Chers Dave.

This Volvo F88 is still working.I would think the net earnings with this vehicle is much more than the new one’s on finance.
