Hi Dave,
The Leyland Octopus , reg. no. PDF 606, was previously owned by Barbara Bowring of Lydney , Gloucestershire.
I have a photograph of it in Bowrings livery . I think it was only a show` vehicle .
If anyone wishes me to put it on here , then the liveries can be compared.

Cheers, cattle wagon man.

Part of the Arthur Oakley fleet at the show.

Hi Dave , Here is PDF 606 in the livery of Barbara Bowring, with tidily-sheeted load of timber.
I wonder whatever happened to the " Leyland " badge , shown fitted to the front bumper ?

Cheers, cattle wagon man.

That’s a cracking pic Roy.I’ve downsized the Hereford pic to see more of the lorry.
Cheers Dave.

This one came a long way to the show…

My camera person liked this name on the front of this motor.Only difference is her name is spelt without the E.

Hiya,
If I’d a shilling for every mile I’ve driven one of these I would
be very very wealthy man, and if I hadn’t driven one may not
have had a bad back for fifty six years, a hard old ride.
thanks harry, long retired.

I drove S W Brisbanes AEC Matador which they had as a breakdown recovery vehicle on a few occasions Harry.Being strong in the arm and weak in the head I quite enjoyed it.They had character to the, those old motors.
Cheers Dave.
